the Bear SG singapore is no place to retirement actually... thinking and looking around, i worry for the future and any child brought into the world now... like today's Anderson Cooper Planet in Peril, already it has been said that the world has too few resources, too overpopulated (probably over the tipping point already) and the planet cannot handle the stress.. technology has a limit... yet, our politicians (not just Singapore but every lea-duh on the planet) is pushing for population growth.. and growth.. there is a plateau where it is sustainable... we've gone past it.. it is not sustainable anymore.. but no one seems to care.. and in time, nowhere will be fit in years to come

ShrodingersCat SG just wondering: would u choose to adopt instead of giving birth to your own children? Actually this is one thing I have discussed with my hubby and my brother. one concern is that there are already so many children with dysfunctional families, orphans in the world - the supply is there - yet the demand for MORE CHILDREN cannot seem to help but continue. My hubby says he would like to have one biological child and he won't mind adopting more if we can afford it. I have friends who would consider only adoption due to this, and have chosen not to have their own children.
